Don Sanni is a graduate of The New England Conservatory, with a degree in guitar performance. He has been a full time guitar teacher since 1983, and has played hundreds of shows throughout the Northeast in club bands such as Baker Street, Jet City, Shockwave, and Standing Man. He was the winner of an international guitar competition in 1990, which led to a sponsorship with the Kramer guitar company. Don’s playing and composing have been praised in “Guitar” magazine, and he has written lessons for the Mel Bay Publication website, the largest publisher of guitar music in the world. He authored an instructional guitar DVD entitled “Guitar Reality” which was very favorably reviewed in music trade magazines. Currently he performs solo, fingerstyle guitar, traveling throughout New England, New York, and Canada, and is one of the most sought after guitarists for weddings, corporate, and private events. When not performing, Don teaches guitar full-time with upwards of 50 students per week.
